Joining your child for lunch?
Our lunch procedures have changed. We have a "play first, eat last" lunch period this year. If you are planning to join your child for lunch in our Zuni Cafe, time your arrival to be twenty minutes past the start of your child's lunch period. At that time, your child will have returned from recess, washed his/her hands, and be ready to eat.
PLEASE DON'T GET A TICKET!
IMPORTANT: When parking in one of Zuni's two parking lots, please do not park in the red "No Parking" zones along the curb. In the past year, several parents have received warnings or tickets for doing so. Also, when dropping off or picking students up, do not leave your car unattended in the "No Parking" zone for any amount of time.

It's Pre-Kindergarten at Zuni!
Our 3 and 4 year old "junior coyotes" will follow a curriculum that includes language, music, math, and science that prepares them for kindergarten.

Zuni's Panda Preschool Update
The Zuni PANDA Preschool is looking for peer models to join our preschool classroom. Peer Models are typical children with no special education needs. Peer models need to be strong in language and able to model age appropriate behaviors for the special needs students.
There are a limited number of peer model spaces available. Students must participate in the District’s preschool screening program before they can be considered for placement.
Please call (480) 484-4000 (ext. 5234). This program has great benefits for both the special needs students and the peer model students.
Self-Contained Gifted Programs at Zuni!
Zuni is also now offering self-contained gifted programs for grades 2 through 5 as well as Gifted cluster classes in grades 1 and 2. Call the Zuni office or view application information HERE
